I have confirmation that 2 warrants have been taken out on Mr David Earl Freeman!!!!

NEXT:
People need to do what they can to file a police report. The more documentation they have on the issue the better. This report may also be necessary if people end up filing with insurance, taxes, etc. It has been stated to me that it may be possible for people to write this off as a "bad tax expense" on next years taxes. I am not sure about this and will follow up on this to let y'all know. You may want to ask your tax agent.

***IF YOU ARE ONE THAT HAS BEEN TOLD THAT YOUR CASE IS CIVIL MAKE SURE YOU STILL ASK FOR SOME FORM OF REPORT NUMBER FOR YOUR FILE. THE MORE DOCUMENTATION YOU HAVE ON THIS THE BETTER. From here you need to go to the magistrate's office in the county the crime took place. You can take out a misdemeanor warrant.

One charge that applies to EVERYONE is G.S. 14-404 Obtaining advances under promise to work and pay for same.

If any person, with intent to cheat or defraud another, shall obtain any advances in money, provisions, goods, wares, or merchandise of any description from any other person or corporation up and by color of any promise or agreement that the person making the same will begin any work or labor of any description for such person or corporation from whom the advances are obtained, and the person making the promise or agreement shall willfully fail, without a lawful excuse, to commence or complete such work according to contract, he shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor.

This is just one charge and I am trying to find ones that apply to others with more "ooomph" without them becoming civil issues. Just an option for everyone to have a charge taken out!!!
